Are you still on track with your 100 Days project? I’m still creating a Layer-A-Day in Mixed Media, and loving my slow and steady projects.
As I said in the beginning, I won’t be posting every day, every step, or even every project. But I’m popping back in today with another completed make. This week’s is for my wall, not in a journal.
Thursday, I changed my seasonal home decor. Valentine’s came down, and Spring/Resurrection went up.

The last few days I’ve been working on a small wall Faith+Art piece, specifically for “such a time as this”. I finished it in perfect timing. I’ll save the reveal for the end.
5 S’s are always a great way to start a background. Layer upon layer. Spraying. Splashing. Stenciling. Splattering. Stamping.

Visual texture is great, but (almost) no background is complete without physical texture too (IMO.) My favorite is texture paste through a stencil. And of course edging is needed for definition.

The background done. Moving on. A cheerful spring-y focal point to create a great compliment to it. Die cutting and watercolor pencils.

Words of Faith complete the thought, and give clear meaning. Painting. Die cutting. Stamping. Heat embossing.

And on the wall she goes. A Resurrection and Redemption message to rejoice in, from Mark 16:6 and John 10:10. Jesus is not only Alive Himself, and lives forevermore making intercession at the throne of God for His people, and holds the keys of death and Hades. (Romans 8 and Revelation 1.) Hallelujah and Amen! — But He also gives us Life Everlasting—and Abundantly!
