Seasons—Looking Ahead

If you’ve read my last 2 posts, you know that as I transition from the busy holidays into a New Year, I take a week for Reflection. Looking back and Looking forward.

I know very little about what the New Year will throw my way, but I focus on what I desire to create more of in my life—as well as look at what I want less of, (and how much of it is in my ability to get rid of.)

Life will throw us enough curve balls that there is nothing we can do about. But we can do our best to prepare ourselves to meet whatever those things are with Faith that God isn’t surprised, even when we are; and that He knows not only the circumstance, but also the long term results of it. And most importantly that He loves and cares for us, and (my favorite verse) He works all things together for good, for those who love Him, and are the called according to His purpose.

I don’t set New Year’s Resolutions. I don’t choose a WOTY (Word of the year. Although sometimes one chooses me.) 😊 And I won’t expound on either of those thoughts here. (I probably have before though.) But I do look ahead and do some planning and preparing.

Just because God’s got us, doesn’t mean we just sit back for the ride. We are responsible for our lives and how we live them, Redeeming the Time. (Also the name of organizing and planning resources I wrote and published, once upon a long time ago.)

One thing I’m intentionally creating more of in my life in 2026 is Comfort and Joy! (or is that 2 things?) I have rebuilt a life I love, but life can always be better. We’ve got to keep growing and going forward! And sometimes that means slowing down and resting in Him!

Some things I am planning and preparing for Freely Whole in 2026–that i hope include YOU— are:

• 🩷 More private group—online AND in-person—Faith+Art Classes and Courses (Please consider joining us!)
• 🩷 More Life Restoration Coaching offerings (May I help you over some humps?)
• 🩷 More Creative Retreats! (I’d love to come teach you and your friends/group)
• 🩷 More Layer A Day Creativity! (Soul-transforming Creativity for busy people! I’ll post more about it this year, too.)
• 🩷 Doing and leading more Bible and book Studies
• What do all of these have in common? Building closer Community, as we grow and heal—and live our lives Freely Whole, together!

I’d love for us to walk this journey of life alongside each other, as we follow our Savior Y’shua (Jesus) more closely.

Where will we start? New Year’s Eve, online!
