Abusers Don’t Stop

Separation and Divorce don’t mean the abuse is over. Abusers continue to abuse through any avenue they can. Even no-contact or protection orders don’t mean abuse has stopped. Please don’t ever think that just because she’s out and free, healing and creating a new life, that she is completely safe, that the abuser has stopped, or especially that they can and should be “friends” now. I made it out of the kitchen and back into my Creative Studio today. (See freely eat whole post.) Still (slowly) working on projects from the Choose Joy online Faith Art retreat.
