This weekend, I’m spending some time working on more of the art part of Exploring Joy #faithjournaljuly2025. I’m mainly keeping the pages fairly simple, because I want to finish this project, since I have my new course launching next month.*
Today’s page is Day 8 of the study, on Matthew 13:44.
“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure, buried in a field, that a man found and reburied. Then in his joy he goes and sells everything he has and buys that field.”
Jesus, my Treasure! There’s no way to depict all that He is in, even in just that aspect.
This page, on a dictionary page, started with stenciling gold circles all over the page. I die cut my pocket from the Stitched Slots die on my floral printable paper, that some of my pages and all of my journal cards are made from.
The caption, verse card, quote were all designed on computer and printed out. The Treasure Box is a free online image I resized.

Jesus and His Kingdom are worth more than all the riches in this world. He is my Treasure!
