We cannot heal what we refuse to acknowledge, numb ourselves to, or dissociate from.Facing the truth of the abuse we have experienced can be excruciating. But when we can face the truth, we can begin the hard work of overcoming. Then we can look forward to restoration of our souls.
On the other side of the pain is healing in the loving embrace of our Lord Jesus. He promises never to leave us or forsake us, even in this pain.
We are praying for you today. We pray that this year you will walk in truth and find restoration of your soul.

What is it you really miss about them?The lies, the standup dates, the cheating, the smear campaigns?
When did you decide that the few moments they act civilly (which is often an integrated part of the abuse) was enough to build a life on?
You can't build a life on a kaleidoscope of lies. You can't experience true love amidst cheating, ghosting, and secrets. You can't move ahead when you spend all your time trying to recover from yesterday's betrayals.
As long as a lying manipulator is the center of your life, you will always live in The Twilight Zone, where nothing is as it seems.
But the good news is, every passing minute is a chance to turn it all around.
