You may be asked to believe the unbelievable about an abusive situation, you would have never dreamed to be happening. Truth is not always what appears openly. You don’t know what’s been done behind closed doors. It takes great courage for an abuse survivor to open up to anyone. Be honored that she has trusted you enough to tell you. Believe Her Friends . . . most of the women I know who have bravely left a man who was killing them on the inside emotionally and mentally are intelligent and loving human beings.
