YHWH Shammah is our God who is there. In the good times and the bad times of our lives, He not only sees all but He is right there with us, every moment. We are never alone. He will never leave or forsake us.
I will never leave you or abandon you.

My main meditation was on Isaiah 41:10 (-13), a passage that I returned to many times over some of the hardest years of my life. Whatever I’ve gone through, every storm I’ve weathered, the scariest situations in my life, God has always been there. I’ve never been alone. He’s never left me. He has held onto me, strengthened me, and helped me.
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10
My scriptural inspiration for the art is from Matthew 14:22-33, Jesus’ disciples in the boat in the storm. Jesus was right there, and calmed the storm. Isaiah 43:2 (and other passages) carry the same idea, He is there when the storms rage around us, when the flames seek to devour us. His Word repeatedly confirms and comforts us with the truth of YHWH Shammah.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you,
Isaiah 43:2
and the rivers will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, and the flame will not burn you.
What storms are you facing? Jesus is right there with you. You won’t go through them alone.
