Believe in Your Creativity

I got an email today with this sentence in it. I didn’t even read the rest of the email yet. I’ve just been sitting with this thought.

How many people give up on their creativity because:

• No one supports them in it.
• No one encourages it.
• No one acknowledges it.

After some time of everyone around them ignoring it, downplaying it, or even degrading it, they may begin to believe the lies — that it’s a waste of time, waste of money, not “valuable”, not “good”, or even “stupid” or maybe even worse—it’s never mentioned at all. The dream is lost. The creating stops.

Is this you?

Have you given up on creating? Or are about ready to?

Please don’t. Your creativity is important, even if those around you don’t recognize that. Please recognize it yourself.

Because God does. He put it in you.

To improve your life, build your soul. And to glorify Him.

Nurture the creative spark God put inside you. Don’t let it go out. Use it:

• to heal,
• to grow,
• to bless others,
• to glorify your Creator who put it in you.

I believe in your creativity! Even if no one around you does.
