So many things in life not only seem, but truly are, not only “unfair”, but truly unjust. It seems like oppressors are getting away with their evil. We cry out, with David, “How long, Oh Lord?”
We want swift justice for evil. Yet God is many times long-suffering, desiring the oppressor to come to repentance. — and as they don’t, they heap up more judgement for themselves.
God is Just. He is Faithful. He sees. And He will bring justice. He will break into pieces the oppressor. We can trust Him. Vengeance is His. He will repay! Blessed be His Name!
