In reflecting and writing, I knew I wanted to do a Bible Journaling page to remember it in my Bible. You saw my beginning ideas in that post. Here’s the conclusion and video tutorial.

I made it right away, while still reflecting, but it took a while to get the tutorial edited. Sorry for the delay. (See pic at bottom for what I’ve been busy doing.) 😍
I’d recently gotten the new Happy Herd die set, and this was the perfect opportunity to use it. I just had to decide which passage to put it on. I chose John 10, the passage about Jesus being the Great Shepherd, and Him knowing His sheep, and them knowing Him and His voice, and not following another.

This Bible Journaling make uses just a few supplies, but I love how it turned out. —And love the additional meditation time it gave me.

Supplies used:

- Distress Oxide Inks— Cracked Pistachio, Mowed Lawn, and Rustic Wilderness
- Archival Ink— Black Soot
- Background stamp— from Tim Holtz’ Grunged set (THMM122)
- Lowercase Letters Clickable Stamp Set from Recollections
- Distress Glaze— Cracked Pistachio
- Happy Herd die set from Concord & 9th
- Mixed Media cardstock, scraps—black, white, and green ink blended cardstock
- Distress Collage Matte Medium
- Die cut machine, blending brushes, acrylic stamping block, heat tool, water sprayer
Techniques used:
- Stamping
- Heat embossing
- Ink blending
- Water spray and lift
- Ink smooshing
- Ink edging
- Die cutting and piecing
