Daily Word – Enlightened

How can I keep from falling, when darkness surrounds me? How can I stay the course? How can I know where to take the next step? You are my Light! “Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, Because I keep Your precepts. I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I may keep Your word. I… Continue reading

Daily Word – Justice

So many things in life not only seem, but truly are, not only “unfair”, but truly unjust. It seems like oppressors are getting away with their evil. We cry out, with David, “How long, Oh Lord?” We want swift justice for evil. Yet God is many times long-suffering, desiring the oppressor to come to repentance. — and as they don’t, they heap up more judgement for themselves. God is Just. He is Faithful. He sees. And He will bring justice. He will break into pieces the oppressor. We can trust Him. Vengeance is His. He will repay! Blessed be His… Continue reading

Daily Word – Faithful in the Small

I’m sometimes accused of being naive. Which is somewhat a dichotomy, since I’m a studier and over-thinker. But I believe the best—until it’s proven wrong. I like to find simplicity. I get excited over the little things in life—and concerned over little things. I see how those little things make up the big picture. Where they are heading. What they can, and likely will become. Are we as concerned about being faithful in the little things in life as we are about the big things? The little things will become the big things! Our “core beliefs” need to be strong… Continue reading

Daily Word – Foundations

What is the house of your life built on? The solid Rock of Jesus the Christ, or the sinking sand of this world? “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?” Luke 6:46‬ Living Coram DeoSDG!~ Liberty Subscribe in the sidebar to get future posts made on this website. Daily Word – Desires

What does your heart desire? Flesh? Eye-candy? Your own grandiose? Or doing God’s will? “And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.”‭‭I John‬ ‭2:17‬ Living Coram DeoSDG!~ Liberty Subscribe in the sidebar to get future posts made on this website. Daily Word – Pursue

We chase after many things in life. Are the things we’re pursuing really important? Do they make “life”? Righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness are worthy pursuits. Pursue God! Seek Him and His kingdom—and all these things will be added to you. Living Coram DeoSDG!~ Liberty Subscribe in the sidebar to get future posts made on this website. Daily Word – His Plans

Does your life look like what you planned? Perhaps you planned to have 3 kids. But only 1 came along. Perhaps you planned to be married for life. But you’re divorced after decades of trying. Perhaps you planned to be retired by now. Or married by now. Perhaps you planned to be president of your own company. Do you see loss? Or gain? Do you trust the Lord’s direction? Or do you become bitter that your own agenda isn’t going how you planned? Do you trust His timing? That perhaps the plans weren’t way off base, but just not yet?… Continue reading

Creative Play

This past weekend, my kids were all busy elsewhere and I was looking forward to some Creative Play time. I have some projects I’m wanting to work on, but I really just felt like playing. No end envisioned. No completed projects to figure out. No real thinking. Just play! Making it a perfect time to work on backgrounds! It’s been a while since I’ve pulled out my Dylusions acrylic paints. I love them, but my go-to is usually ink pads, rather than paints. So, out came the acrylic paints.Paper towels/ dried out baby wipes, rewetted.Mixed Media cardstock.A few stencils. And the… Continue reading
